Question: What triggers panic attacks?

Just yesterday, I was practicing for colorguard and we were temporarily moved to a smaller room than we usually use. It was uncomfortably cramped between all the bodies occupying the small area and I quickly began to lose my breath. After about ten minutes, I was lying on the floor, hyperventilating and trembling. I'm trying to uncover the reason to my panic attack and I was considering that the closeness of all the other girls around me might have triggered it. Any ideas? Thanks! P.S. I have never taken drugs in my life and I am not claustrophobic. |
